The Gaming Floor
Gateway Casino London sits at 900 King Street, in the East London area, on the Western Fair District grounds. It is a land-based venue operated by Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited, one of the major gaming groups in Canada. The layout is straightforward: once you are through the doors, you are essentially on the main floor already.
Slot machines range from penny games through to higher-limit options, so you can play light or push the stakes a bit more, depending on what suits you. Our electronic table games include Blackjack, Mississippi Stud Poker, and Mini Baccarat, with roughly 28 terminals in total. These are not live dealer tables, which means the hands move quicker and you are not waiting around for a seat to free up. Some guests really like the pace. Others prefer that traditional table feel - it depends what kind of session you have in mind.
| Game Category | Format | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Slot Machines | Electronic reels | Penny to high-limit denominations |
| Blackjack | Electronic table | Available on e-table terminals |
| Mississippi Stud | Electronic table | Available on e-table terminals |
| Mini Baccarat | Electronic table | Available on e-table terminals |
| Lottery Terminal | On-site kiosk | Available on premises |
The casino operates 24 hours a day, every day of the week. For general entry you do not need a reservation - you just come in and start your visit.
Planning Your First Visit
On-site parking is free, which removes one of the usual downtown frustrations. No need to hunt for a space on the street or pay a meter. For guests arriving on public transit, the King Street location is reasonably straightforward to reach from central London.
A typical first visit might look like this:
- Make your way to 900 King Street, London, Ontario, N5W 5K3.
- Use the on-site parking lot - there is no charge for it.
- Walk through the main entrance and you will step right into the gaming area.
- If you have US dollars or another foreign currency, stop at the currency exchange desk before you start playing.
- If you need cash during your stay, use the ABMs inside the venue, so you do not have to leave the property.
- While you are on the floor, help yourself to a complimentary non-alcoholic drink - coffee, tea, or fountain pop.
- Take a moment to look at the promotions board; if something is live that day, it is better to know before you sit down.
From our experience, it usually works better to decide on a spending limit before you arrive, rather than trying to figure it out once you are already in front of the machines. It keeps things clearer and tends to make visits more relaxed.
When you feel like stepping away from the gaming floor, The Getaway Restaurant is right on-site. It is casual, focused on lighter meals and simple favourites. Nothing overly formal, but it lets you take a break and eat without cutting your visit short or leaving the building.
On-Site Services
We keep the services on property practical and focused on what guests actually use. Currency exchange is available in-house, which is helpful if you are visiting from across the border or carrying anything other than Canadian dollars. Our complimentary drink service covers non-alcoholic options only - coffee, tea, and fountain pop. Alcoholic beverages are outside of that and are handled separately.
The ABMs inside the casino run as independent bank machines. They are not tied into gaming activity or player tracking; they are purely there if you need to withdraw cash during your visit.
| Amenity | Details |

We are not set up as a full resort property. This is a community casino, and the services are shaped around that role.
